Authors should provide a maximum of five keywords describing their work, and must include a statement confirming that if their paper is accepted, one of the authors will attend the conference to present it. Please include the full name, affiliation, full address, telephone number, fax number, and email address of the corresponding author. Notifications will be mailed by January 30, 1998. Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit their camera-ready final papers and full registration by March 16, 1998. Papers received after that date will not be included in the proceedings. The International Program Committee reserves the right to reject any final manuscript if its quality is not acceptable. If this should occur, the author(s) will be notified by March 23, 1998 and their registrations will be refunded. SUBMISSION OF TUTORIALS Anyone wishing to organize a half-day (3 hour) tutorial in connection with this conference should submit a proposal to the IASTED Secretariat by November 29, 1997. The tutorial proposal should clearly indicate the background knowledge expected of the participants, the objectives, and the time allocation for the major course topics. The qualifications of the instructor(s) should also be included. SESSION ORGANISERS Anyone wishing to organize a session should submit a proposal to the IASTED Secretariat by November 29, 1997. The proposal should indicate the topic of the session, a cover letter and the abstracts.
