This conference will focus on practical ways in which the Web is being and will continue to be developed for these uses, with a special focus on education and professionals who are responsible for developing material for use on the Web. Topics for the conference include, but are not limited to: > Delivering DataBase content to the Web > Human Factors - Implications for Development and Support > Implementing and managing WWW Servers > Datamining the WWW > Databases on the WWW > Educational Strategies > VLDB and the Internet > Cooperative Group Efforts Using the WWW You are invited to share your expertise and ideas by presenting an original paper (not presented or published elsewhere) or organizing a panel. All submissions based on the conference themes should be sent in the form of an abstract of 300-500 words. This abstract will appear in the online conference program if the submission is accepted. The committee particularly welcomes proposals for presentations that encourage active participation by the conference attendees. At least one author should plan on attending the conference to present the paper. Online proceedings will be published for this conference. Full papers accepted for the conference will be submitted in ASCII text or HTML 3.2 to the addresses below.
