ASWEC 97 First Call for Papers The 1997 Australian Software Engineering Conference, the premier academic and professional software engineering meeting in the SE-Asia/SW-Pacific region will be held in Sydney from September 28 to October 2. The technical program will include . refereed research papers . refereed software tool reports . panel and workshop sessions . keynote and invited presentations. Papers in the technical program will appear in the Conference Proceedings, which are intended to be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press, as was the case for ASWEC 96. A selection of the best papers will have the opportunity to be revised and expanded for publication in The Australian Computer Journal. The conference program will additionally include . tutorials . industry experience reports. ASWEC 97 also invites the co-location of related activities (e.g. SIG meetings), before, after or in some cases during the ASWEC dates. Approved co-located events will be announced in ASWEC 97 publicity.
